Polish Telco to offer full functionality of Unified Communications provided by CE On-Demand.

21, July 2011, Warsaw – Netia SA signed a strategic partnership with CE On-Demand, the region’s leading provider of cloud services. Thanks to this cooperation, Netia will soon offer a comprehensive Unified Communications service based on Microsoft technology to all of its business customers. The services suite is the first of its kind in the region and further advances Netia’s brand as a leading-edge, innovative communications service provider.
Netia’s Unified Communication services suite will deliver affordable business communications tools to all sizes of companies – from SOHOs to large enterprises. This service offering will deliver productivity gains through easier and significantly faster access to data needed as well as access to leading-edge business software applications.

Unified Communications is a process in which all communications devices and media equipment are integrated, allowing users to remain in contact with each other in real time, regardless of location. Cloud-based technology will allow users to manage their desk phones from Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) delivered by CE On-Demand, which is an online web-and video conferencing tool. Thanks to integrated cloud services, users will be able to call a number from their Outlook Contact lists through OCS, but still using the handset of their desk phones. The solution aims to optimize business processes and facilitate communication.
