Telenor Hungary and CE On-Demand to strengthen strategic partnership.

Based on the success of a joint local government cloud project, and an on-going B2B program, Telenor and CE On-Demand further strengthen their relationship in Hungary with a SoHo campaign this autumn.

CE On-Demand has been providing cloud services to the Hungarian subsidiary of the Telenor Group since last October, when a pilot cloud program for local governments was launched. The aim of the project is to replace the Governmental out-of-date and heterogeneous messaging services with Telenor’s cloud solution, based on cloud services provided by CE On-Demand. The pilot program, already launched in seven different local governments and institutions, is expected to bring 14M EUR IT cost savings for the Hungarian Government in 3 years.

Telenor Hungary also provides cloud services for the Hungarian business market since May 2011 under its ‘Webiroda’ services. The enterprise-level cloud communication package provides a cost-effective integrated messaging, communication and collaboration solution for businesses in Hungary. All services are provisioned through CE On-Demand’s in-house developed Cloud Services Manager™.

More news to be expected on the success of the cooperation soon.
