Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a customer relationship management application from Microsoft which provides sales, service, and marketing capabilities.

Neostratus provides this widely-acclaimed application as a 3rd-party service, with direct interface through Cloud Services Manager.

Out of the box, the product focuses mainly on Sales, Marketing, and Service (help desk) sectors, but Microsoft has been marketing Dynamics CRM as an XRM platform and has been encouraging partners to use its proprietary (.NET based) framework to customize it to meet many different demands.

Dynamics CRM is a server-client application, which, like Microsoft SharePoint, is primarily an IIS-based web application which also supports extensive web services interfaces.

Office 365

Neostratus is one of the first Syndication partners of Microsoft, enabling Neostratus to sell Office 365 to its partners and customers directly.

Neostratus’ unique provisioning platform, the in-house developed Cloud Services Manager provides added flexibility and dynamic configuration of various cloud services based on customer demands. In addition, it allows partner-level integration with existing provisioning and billing systems.

Office 365 is available as a single product in Neostratus’ portfolio; however, partners and customers of Neostratus also have the liberty to choose any one of Microsoft’s Office applications separately from others, in a white-labelled construction, bundled with any additional service from Neostratus’ portfolio or any other vendor services, as well as partners’ own services.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Microsoft Exchange 2013 is synchronised with Blackberry Enterprise Server (“BES”) to provide advanced security features, remote device management, customisable user permissions, maximum scalability, access to information on the go, and instant technology thanks to push technology. It is available as an Add-on for Business and Manager Mail only.

BES and BESX (BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express) provide encrypted access to mail server from BlackBerry mobile terminal (see picture below). Versions of BES are available for Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino and Novell GroupWise. Google has made a Connector for BES which makes BES available for Google Apps as well. Both BES and BESX require MAPI access to Exchange.

BES requires BES licenses for the server from RIM and BES plan from mobile operator with APN to RIM’s datacenter.
BESX does not require server licenses from RIM and can work both with BIS and BES plans from mobile operator.
